Today I am thankful for Bible studies!
I’ve been part of numerous Bible studies in the past four years. Icebreakers are always the greatest, winky face! Have you ever played A Penny For Your Thoughts? Highly recommend it in the future!
I’ve been doing a Bible Study with a good friend from Washington.
We get together via Instagram and go from there.
We started in the gospel of Matthew. We will eventually be in the gospel of John here soon! I get so giddy sitting down one-on-one and talking about what we’ve read. Life bounces out of the pages. Passion starting to emerge from within.
It’s been going so amazing. We share our life’s previews, testimonies, and everything in between. As well as our prayer requests.
There is also a Wednesday Bible Study held via zoom that I go to, too. We’ve been going through the New Testament too! We are approaching the book of Romans. Wow, let me tell you that it has been a joy sitting down and seeing what has been highlighted to the group.
Picture this: being stoned, dragged, and “left” for dead. Then, being surrounded by the disciples and rising. Acts 14:19-23 ESV. A snippet of Paul’s story.
Have you heard the story about the talking donkey?
Find out the reason why she spoke here:
Balaam’s Donkey and the Angel.
How about the one with the bones?
Give it a read. What do you think?
(I would provide a picture of bones but here’s this one instead 😉)
Get yourself out there! Ask around or maybe start one? How can you not?
Let’s not make excuses and keep eating the Word. Together and in a community (when the time comes, no pressure!). Paper or phone. Maybe both? Keep at it!
Therefore, I am thankful for Bible Studies!
