Today I am thankful for libraries!
During the first week of living in Florida, I signed up for a library card! I completed the online application and went in to pick up my card!
Books about learning, growing, boundaries, and children’s books also would be checked out! Then there are books about gardening, languages, how to bake bread/pastries and cooking according to your liking, and nutrition. Thankful for healthy resources!
I stick to Christian-based books. There’s also the Bible that I am grateful to read!
Some benefits of libraries:
Book banquet
Fine fines
FREE Internet
Volunteer opportunities
Depending on the library establishment, you can print for free 😎
I did not have Audible and would usually physically go to the library to pick up my books or audiobook CDs.
If the library didn’t have the physical copy… I would buy the book! Don’t worry, the books were purchased used. It was way cheaper than the original price. Sometimes the local Christian Women’s Ministry would provide books based on the faith also… for FREE! Score!! I would also check the local thrift shop and the library itself! Yeah, you heard that right! They sell books too and for reasonable prices!
Last summer, I purchased around three books for $1.00 at the library!
I was starting my library. Yet with the move, my momma has ninety percent of my books… They didn’t quite make it. Hopefully, they’ll make their way here someday.
If you already have a library card and want to read or listen to books on your device, lean in. There’s something that I want to introduce you to:
A library on your phone 💕
Happy reading and listening too!
The library is my happy place!! (I also call it a candy store :-)
