Today I am thankful for my heart.
The heart that was made by my Creator.
The heart that beats. The heart that lives and breathes. The heart that surrendered and creates room for Jesus again and again and again.
The heart that loves to give, help, share, listen, and learn.
The heart that can be foolish… and make my mind blurt out quickly enough without thinking twice.
The heart that encourages naps, snacks, dancing, jumping in puddles, looking up when feeling down, doing the dishes after a long day, and so much more.
The heart that listens to the mind and body other than itself.
The heart that can be selfish and want to keep her snacks all by herself and not share.
I know, I know. Sharing is caring, right? But sometimes I want a snack for myself… lol. Don’t even try to tell me you don’t do the same once in a while. 😋
To my friends that listen to me pour out my heart, God bless you all.
To Jesus that sees me follow my heart’s desire… but You see how it turns out and calls me back. I’m trying to work on Psalm 37:4, hehe😅. The key is delighting in the Lord!
The heart that holds determination, memories, motivation, and ponderings.
The heart that gets frightened, unsteady, and holds pain. & is learning of letting go.
♡♡♡
God, thank You, for creating this heart from the beginning.
So uniquely is how You created it.
You gave us all a heart.
So, thank You for creating this beating heart.
And thank You for giving this kid, heart.
Amen.
